USA Pankration President Dave Sixel and his team of competitors are on their way to Serbia in order to represent the country at the FILA World Pankration Championships.
Beginning on September 30 and lasting until October 2, the event is set to take place in Belgrade, Serbia, and feature the top Pankration competitors from around the world. Sixel is confident in his team’s chances.
“It’s a privilege and honor to represent our country in sport and I am very confident that this team will once again be in the running to bring home the gold.”
The USA team, led by Sixel and coach Mark Geletko, all earned their spots by reigning victorious at the USA Pankration National Championships and US World Team Trials back in June. The event consists of:
